Making a Positive Change at Competitions

A dance competition is the way a certain set of judges view a certain set of dancers on a certain day. If we had done this competition yesterday, or if one of the judges had been someone else, chances are the results would have been different in some way. It is good that we compete as dancers because we compete every day in life. Competitions help to show us where we have been, where we are now, and where we have to aim to go in the future. But it is important to remember that the true worth of anyone, as a dancer or a person, will never be measured by a trophy or prizes.

Dance Spectacular is celebrating 41 years of excellence. We are the competition that sets the standard in the Utah region, promoting fair and positive experiences for every dancer who enters. We take great pride in providing exceptional venues for both dancers and the audience. Our judges are some of the best in the dance industry. Our goal is to promote a healthy and fun competitive environment that gives each competitor the opportunity to be critiqued by competent judges on their dance skills and abilities and to be rewarded for their efforts. Our slogan, The Competition Where Everyone Is A Winner, stands true to this day, and we believe each dancer deserves recognition.
