“A dance competition is the way a certain set of judges view a certain set of dancers on a certain day. If we had done this competition yesterday, or if one of the judges had been someone else, chances are the results would in some way be different. It is good that we compete as dancers, because we compete every day in life. Competitions help to show us where we have been, where we are now, and where we have to aim to go in the future. But it is important to remember that the true worth of anyone, as a dancer or a person, will never be measured by a trophy or prizes.”

Dance Spectacular embraces the statement made by Richard Disarno. Our competitions are promoted on the basis of making lasting positive memories for each dancer. We encourage all the competitors to applaud each performer and make a new friend from a different studio this year!

Dance Spectacular is celebrating 34 years of excellence. We are the competitions that set the mark in the Utah region, promoting fair and positive experiences for each dancer that enters. We take great pride in providing superior venues for both the dancer and the audience. Our judges are some of the best in the dance industry. Our goal is to promote a healthy fun competition environment that allows each competitor the chance to be critiqued by competent judges on their dance skills and abilities and be rewarded for their efforts. Our slogan that states “The Competition Where Everyone Is A winner” stands true to this day and we believe each dancer deserves recognition.
